As announced in October 2025, First Interstate Bank entered into an agreement for Security First Bank to acquire select First Interstate branches in Nebraska.
The transaction is scheduled to close on Friday, April 10, 2026. On Monday, April 13, 2026, these locations will open as Security First Bank branches.
When the transaction closes, Security First Bank will assume the physical buildings, retail and business deposit accounts, loans, and safe deposit boxes associated with the transitioning locations.
