Enabling Cookies in Mozilla Firefox

  1. Open Menu: Click the three horizontal lines (☰) in the top-right corner.
  2. Go to Settings: Select Settings (or Options).
  3. Select Privacy & Security: Click on the Privacy & Security panel in the left sidebar.
  4. Choose Protection Level:
    1. Standard: This is the default, allowing most cookies but blocking known trackers; this usually works for enabling basic cookie functions.
    2. Custom: Select this for more control. Check the box for Cookies, then use the dropdown to choose what to allow (e.g., "All cookies," "Cross-site tracking cookies," etc.).
  5. Allow Specific Sites (Optional): In the same panel, scroll down to "Cookies and Site Data" and click Manage Exceptions to add sites that need cookies.
  6. Reload: Click the reload button on your tabs to apply changes.
